K-12 Schools and Universities

Through a comprehensive approach that combines empathy-building exercises and educational measures, I provide faculty and students with practical tools to create a prejudice-free environment and deepen cross-cultural understanding.

Activities

Listening Sessions for Teachers

My listening sessions with teachers, administrators, and DEI staff focus on the challenges of engaging diverse student perspectives, especially when students' values and concerns may not align with those of the administration or teachers. These sessions offer strategies to build empathy and understanding across differences, ensuring all voices are heard and respected.

In addition, I share proactive actions that administrators must take when Muslim civil rights are being infringed upon. I provide best practices on how to support Muslim students effectively, including recognizing and addressing anti-Muslim bias, adopting inclusive policies, and ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment for all students.

Campus & School Programs

Our campus and K-12 programs equip student leaders, teachers, and administrators with the tools to identify and address anti-Muslim harm by dispelling stereotypes and deepening their understanding of Islamophobia and its harmful tropes.

I actively involve, student life, support staff, and educators in these programs to create a more inclusive environment where students feel safe, supported, and understood.

Engaging and Training Students

My student programs are designed to prepare young people for a future where they will face political and social conflicts. Through morning assemblies and training sessions, I emphasize the importance of understanding different perspectives and offer practical ways to handle political differences while maintaining respectful relationships.

I also address the harmful effects of Islamophobia and how it can shape a student’s worldview. By helping students recognize and challenge harmful stereotypes, I introduce five actionable steps to becoming empathetic upstanders against anti-Muslim bias.

Through interactive discussions, students gain the skills needed to navigate difficult conversations and engage in civic life with a well-rounded, informed mindset.
