Training DEI Islamophobia and Anti Muslim Bias

In our commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), my training aims to challenge stereotypes, promote understanding, and foster inclusive dialogue about Islamophobia.

Proposed Activities

Measuring the Pulse: Listening Session: Online

I facilitate a 60-minute session which provide a safe space for Muslim/Arab employee to express their concerns and ensures that their voices are heard, valued, and respected. By validating vulnerable individuals, staff morale improves and issues that may arise from misconceptions or assumptions are minimized.

Guiding Complex Conversations: Skill-Building Workshop

I facilitate a 2-4 hour skill-building workshop designed to help participants navigate difficult conversations and build trust. Using practical techniques, attendees will follow a clear roadmap for conflict resolution and engage in constructive dialogue. The workshop focuses on building trust, reducing tension, and ensuring the effective sharing of perspectives, ultimately creating a more collaborative work environment.

Educational Awareness: Webinar: Online, In-person or Hybrid

I offer a 60-90 minute "Islamophobia and Anti-Muslim Bias" webinar that equips employees with a thorough understanding of Muslims, including their beliefs and cultural / racial diversity. The session dispels common myths, provides practical strategies to counter stereotypes, and enhances cultural proficiency and overall understanding.
