WISE Up amplifies the voices of American Muslims united against all forms of hate while demonstrating that the community stands firmly against divisiveness and violence.

Led by American Muslims and supported by allies of all faiths, WISE Up seeks to:

1. Combat Islamophobia and extremism through knowledge, wisdom, and collective action.
2.Correct misconceptions about Islam and Muslims.
3.Shift the narrative by promoting voices of reason and unity.

By confronting the forces that threaten national unity and shared civic life, WISE Up champions a vision of inclusivity, understanding, and resilience

Summit, Congressional Briefing and a National Tour

WISE Up: Knowledge Ends Extremism was launched in Washington, DC. In October 2017, during a historic Summit of religious and community leaders, academics and policymakers. 300 people attended the Summit, which featured panel discussions amongst scholars, community leaders, and activists working together to explore answers to extremism and Islamophobia. To enhance our national unity, WISE Up conducted a national tour, engaging diverse audiences, and held a Congressional Briefing to present policy recommendations to members of Congress.
